Hey there! I’m Katie Neil, founder and owner of The Dinghy, a sandwich food truck cruising the streets of Scituate and serving up beach-friendly bites all summer long.

After spending over a decade in the food industry, I knew it was only a matter of time before I turned my dream of owning a café into something real. When an old plumber’s truck practically fell into my lap, I saw it as a sign—and I rolled with it (literally). A few transformations later, The Dinghy was born.

Rooted in my hometown of Scituate, The Dinghy is more than just a food truck—it’s a love letter to this beautiful coastal town where I grew up. From the start, my goal has been to create a fun, welcoming experience that matches the vibe of a perfect beach day: laid-back, sunny, and satisfying.

Our menu features breakfast and lunch sandwiches, grilled paninis, soups, iced coffees, and a few rotating specials—all made with fresh ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Whether you’re a local, a summer regular, or just passing through, we’re here to feed you well and brighten your day.

Thanks for riding with us—we’re so glad you’re here!
